Saving Changes to Records

You have several options to save changes to a record:  

  • File > Save – you can save any changes to the open record by selecting File > Save.  
  • File > Save and Close - you can save any changes to the open record AND close the screen by selecting File > Save and Close.  
  • Save button - you can save any changes to the open record by clicking the Save button in the module’s Navigation button bar.  
  • OK/Close button - you can save any changes to the open record AND close the screen by clicking the OK/Close button on the module’s Navigation button bar.  

Note:  the Top, Prior, Next, Bottom, Add and Find buttons also save changes to the record before moving on to the next record you select.
