There's a safety feature in ACEweb that won't allow users to override a non-empty field with an empty one. For example, if they accidentally deleted their Last Name from the Last Name field then submitted the page, ACEweb will not replace the Last Name on the record with a blank entry.
Note: if a phone field has been included in the RequiredFields INI setting, users will not be able to blank it out using the empty parentheses method. They must put in a valid phone number.
