The tabindex attribute in HTML input and select tags specifies where the field is in the tab order. By default, the tabindex on ACEweb templates is set to follow the order of fields on the template. For example, on the Person.awp template, if your cursor were in the First Name field and you hit the TAB key, your cursor would move to the Middle Initial field, which is next on the template.
Tab indexes are not automatically reset if you add or move fields on a template. If you do add or move fields, you must manually reset the tabindex values.
This notices applies to any ACEweb template that has Form tags on it, such as Person.awp and ProxyReg.awp. It also applies to any Data Capture or Express Registration templates you create.
