You have three options for displaying Instructor information when a user clicks the Instructor link on the Course Status page (note: you must set the ShowInstructor INI setting to ON for the Instructor link to show on the Course Status page):
- Basic Table (Default) - the default is a basic table that displays the Instructor fields you have specified in the InstructorFields INI setting:
- InstInfo.htm* - you can use the InstInfo.htm template to create a custom Instructor Information page.
A sample InstInfo.htm template is available in the Alternate folder. If you do not have a copy, please contact your ACEware technician to obtain one. The InstInfo.htm template must be placed in your Templates folder (i.e. wconnect/ace).
Note: this option will only display one instructor's information (the first alphabetically). If you have multiple instructors, you will want to use the InstInfo.wcs option.
- InstInfo.wcs* - you can use the InstInfo.wcs template to create a custom Instructor Information page if you have multiple instructors assigned to a course and want all instructors to show on the page. A sample InstInfo.wcs template is available. To obtain a copy, please contact your ACEware technician. The InstInfo.wcs template must be placed in your Templates folder (i.e. wconnect/ace).
*If using a custom template, you will need to enter tInst.*: in the InstructorFields INI setting to make the various Instructor fields available.
