AW Compiler
Some ACEweb templates are .AWP type files that require associated .PRG/.FXP files (e.g. person.awp). Depending on your PageParseMode setting, if you edit an .AWP template, you may need to recompile the associated .PRG/FXP files before seeing the changes on the web page.
To run the AW Compiler:
- Open the ACEweb Administration Page.
- Click the Compile Framework Pages link.
- Select the appropriate option:
- To parse and recompile all .AWP templates, click the Templates button.
- To parse and recompile custom .AWP templates, click the Custom Pages button.
- To parse and recompile a specific .AWP template, select it from the list then click the Specified Page button:
![]()
- A message will appear on the page when the parse/compile is completed. E.g.:
PageParseMode
The recommended setting for live ACEweb sites is 3. You should not change the setting unless instructed to by your ACEware technician.
